I agree we should focus more exclusively on encouraging intrapreneurship. Maybe this could involve 'think-tank' teams competing with one another in specific challenges focused on improving efficiency, driving growth, etc.

I think there needs to be more focus here. Would this be an 'open' and ongoing program that simply encourages employees to be intrapreneurial to broad-ranging company goals, or would it be refined to specific targets (improving our onboarding system with an enhanced portal, overcoming logistic challenges with an app update, etc). As it stands, I don't think there is enough clarity here.
I agree with this. I think that before we get to dedicated intrapreneurship challenges, we should focus on more 'quick-win' oriented employee engagement tasks. We should incentivize employees to contribute suggestions to focused challenges, and when they are savvy with the system, launch more large-scale intrapreneurship challenges. We also need to think of how much leeway we give to employees who want to experiment with new tech. There are some insights in this white paper that are insightful in this respect.
