I think this is a great idea! I know that there are many times when I've submitted an idea on our internal suggestion system, and received detailed responses on why it wouldn't work. This is just that writ large. I think it could definitely work!

Is our CEO's time really worth so little that you think he wants to take time off from all of the *important* things he has to do just to visit with some random people who probably don't want to hear him anyway?

It's not that his time is not worth anything, but a 30-minute meeting once a month with customers can do more for PR and customer relation purposes than any sale we put out. The reputation boost in itself is enormous. I don't know if I can quantify how much money that is worth (Marketing probably could, if they wanted to), but it's a lot!
